About

We Are Non Profit Organisation

At For The One, our mission is to support underage girls who have been rescued from human trafficking and exploitation, providing them with the trauma-informed care, education, and resources they need to heal and rebuild their lives. Through For The One, we operate a specialised safe house in Kathmandu, where we focus on the rehabilitation and reintegration of these girls into their communities.

Our work begins at the point of repatriation or rescue, and we support the girls through every stage of their journey—providing safe housing, professional counseling, education, and life skills. We are deeply committed to ensuring that these girls not only heal from their traumatic experiences but also have the opportunity to thrive in a secure and supportive environment.

Our Safe Home

Operating since September 2018, our Safe Home in Kathmandu is a sanctuary where rescued girls receive trauma-informed care. On average, we have around 15 girls in the Home at any given time. Some stay permanently, others move on to other organisations, and some are successfully reintegrated back into their families.

We understand that reintegration is a delicate process, so we work closely with the girls’ local villages to create safe, supportive communities. We educate local communities on trafficking prevention and collaborate with government departments, social workers, schools, hospitals, counselors, and police to ensure that these girls are welcomed back into a secure environment.

We also provide ongoing support, including access to education, medical care, and vocational training, to help these girls rebuild their lives and empower them for a better future.

How We Work

At For The One we collaborate with trusted partners, local communities, and experts in trauma care to offer the best possible support to each girl in our care. Through our Safe Home, we provide a holistic approach to recovery—combining emotional, physical, and educational support to empower each girl to reintegrate into her community with confidence and dignity.
