Disaster Relief 2026
The recent floods and landslides have devastated the very region many from our community call home. Tahlia and Sameer are currently in Nepal, and people they work closely with have been directly impacted. Many are safe, but homes have been destroyed, and some families are now displaced.
Through our relationships with leaders from the affected area, we have an opportunity to respond quickly and practically.
We are aiming to raise $200,000 to provide immediate disaster relief for families and communities impacted by the floods.
Funds raised will help provide practical essentials including:
- Clothing
- Mobile phones
- Solar power banks, as many areas are without electricity
- Care packages tailored to the needs of affected families
- Immediate support for those who have lost homes and basic essentials
For The One is part of the Disaster Relief Register and approved to receive foreign funds specifically for this relief response.
This moment is deeply personal for us. These are not distant communities — they are places connected to the families and leaders we know and love.
